The story is about a reputable lawyer who lost her job due to a huge mistake that was committed by her. After getting her partnership for law, she was so jubilant that she tidied up her table, which she never bothers about. After flipping through her documents, she found a letter by a client who wanted her to secure fifty million dollars for him. Looking at the date, she realized that she had past the dateline and lost her client fifty million dollars. Unable to withstand the pressure, she left the city to hide. Accidentally, she became a housekeeper for a multi-millionaire who treated her well. However, she did not have any experience on housekeeping and cooking. Therefore, she started to learn from the gardener’s mum. When she was about to disclose her identity to the gardener whom she liked, she realized that he hate lawyers as the gardener’s father died due to the lawyers who made him lose the case three times. He had a heart attack and died. Then, their blossomed by concealing her identity. After three months, a shocking truth hit her hard. It was one of her best friend who set her up to kick her out of her post. After the truth was revealed, the boss of the company apologized to her while giving her the best post a lawyer can obtain as an apology. However, the leaving of her boyfriend due to her getting her job back was too much for her to stand. Therefore, her realization that her life should be full of excitement initiated her to quit her job, leaving her boss in shock. With her determination, she joined back her boyfriend to pursue their combined dream.
I feel that all should read this book as it teaches us that we should not live a life earning money without any excitement in life. We should lead an exciting life, full of adventures to fully live your precious moments without any regrets. From this book, we can also see that regardless of what dreams you may have, you need to have the basics for survival before pursuing your dream as it may be useful throughout your life or it may also be for the short period of time, as similar to the main character of the book, who did not have a clue of housework and only knows how to earn money.

what will make or break a work team

A team is a group of people who co-operate and work together for the same objective. Whenever a team gains recognition, it is due to the bond that holds them together. But what exactly makes a team break up?
On the surface, people will think that a team breaks up due to arguments or due to the division of the team members. However, the breaking up of teams is way beyond the simple logic which a lot of people reckoned to be. From my past few years, I have witnessed and experienced the breaking of teams. Normally, the very first reason is due to a few people being very trendy. Due to their way of life, they get bored very fast at something they used to like and start to have different views with their other teammates. Due to the selfishness of the member, the person leads to the dismantling of the team by having no one else to replace the lost member and then lead to everyone leaving too. Therefore, it is an irony that while a team is formed due to trend, it is broken up due to trend too.
Some teams however can persevere on, be it having different timetables or different aims, solely due to the fact that they still all strive towards their own goals and also due to having same interests. That is what makes a team stick together.
To succeed as a team, everyone must, most importantly, play their own part to support the team. If a team as any member that does not play his/her own part, the team will malfunction and cease to work. Therefore, everyone must do what he/she has to do to make the team successful.
